Writers get short shrift in Hollywood.  But traditionally, the pay has been good so lots of famous writers have been lured to Tinseltown by the promise of easy money.  In the June 1991 issue of Movieline magazine, Stephen Farber looked back at some of accomplished literary minds who flew out West to cash a few paychecks.</p>
