a f v c k ing creepy whackadoodle or is this simply the result of Jessica Lange herself being creepy and therefore making the character of Dwan come off as creepy? Jessica Lange has always been really weird to me. There is something very odd, distant/vacant and almost inhuman about her. The only movie she has ever even been sort of normal in is Tootsie. Aside from that she is always freakish. I just can't tell if that was the intention in King Kong or if she made it so.

That only happened once, during the elevated train sequence.

I think Dwan was meant to be this blonde bimbo who throughout the course of the movie eventually becomes a much wiser and more worldly person.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
