<p dir="auto">Well at least in this movie, it's an oil company with tons of equipment, that could do the job. How did they get Kong on the ship in the 1933 version? He gets knocked out, and then magically appears in NYC, in that one as well!</p>

<p dir="auto">Yeah, I always wondered that too. Even in the '05 Kong, it was like Kong gets knocked unconscious, then cut to Kong in NYC in chains. I guess they figured a plausible explanation would be too difficult to come up with, so they instead opted to just cut to Kong captured after they knock him out. Best not to question it too much. After all, it's a love story between a giant ape and a beautiful woman, so some suspension of disbelief is required.<br />
