<p dir="auto">It is too difficult to believe that modern planes-1970s vintage-couldn't easily avoid and destroy Kong. Those 1930 planes were a closer contest.<br />

<p dir="auto">If you want to be technical, even the 30's biplanes could've taken Kong out while staying well out of his reach.  But that would've been much less dramatic.</p>
