You're right! I've never seen such out-right hatred of people over 30 than I see today from the younger crowd. And when you hit 50, you're out of a job. So you either have to go on food stamps and welfare to make the leap from 50 to 65 (when you can start drawing your pension and social security), or die in the gutter.
Sad thing is, 30s is actually quite young these days, but we still live in a very 1960s mentality about it 50 years later.
