Was the butler killed or drugged? As I understand there still had to be at least 2 non detectives - the butler and the cook (which was revealed as the host). So what happened to the butler?</p>

<p dir="auto">"the butler did it" is a mystery fiction trope/cliche.<br />
in the case of this movie, however,<br />
the butler did not do it the cook did it.<br />
that's the long and short of the craziest punchline i have ever witnessed!</p>
