Network is nearly flawless. I've only spotted one imperfection. I won't mention it specifically, because once you hear it, you'll never un-hear it.
As far as the technical side, I'd put Network in the Citizen Kane category. Not for technical achievement/innovation, but for effect. It also has the same theatrical feel (as opposed to cinematic).
Network might be the best overall combination of writing, directing, casting, acting, cinematography, and editing. People these days get caught up in the "it's so prescient!" aspect of it, which I think is a disservice.

Loved it in 1976, love it now. "I'm as mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it anymore." I can't believe there are people who have never seen it.
