<p dir="auto">Ned Beatty made that dialogue not sound entirely ridiculous. It's great writing, begs to be read, but unless read by a professional orator, is kind of clunky when spoken.<br />
But go to the quotes page and read it, you will remember how Beatty said those lines and you will read it like that in your head.<br />
That is a performance.</p>
