<p dir="auto">Can someone please enlighten me about something which was a cause for confusion on another board - I remember this series only dimly. Was Ike Eisenmann's character actually telepathic, or just very bright?</p>

I don't think his father liked him.  I mean, his father goes home before him and ditches him in Atlantium so he can tell his wife the kid is okay.  I mean, think of it.  The guy goes to his wife.  "Where's Scott?" she asks.  "Oh, he's okay," says the husband.  "I left him in a parallel universe but he'll be along any second."  The next sound you hear would be Scott's mother whacking him off the head with a frying pan!</p>
