Mr Robson got a job (i've forgot the exact title)on the Technologies Committee/or in a similar role to help establish such ideas. He was eventualy replaced by Mrs Bassinger. The final Episode he was in was the last of Series 26. It was known at the beginning Mrs Robson (nee Carver) was pregnant and the last Episode he was in Mrs Robson had just given birth to their daughter Clara.

Mr Robson indeed will go down in history as Grange Hill's longest serving character - as he was in Grange Hill from 1988 to 2003!! Incredible to think Mr Robson turned up the year after Zammo etc left and stayed right through the Gonch years, then the Becky Stevens/Natalie/Natasha Stevens era, then in the later 1990's the Lucy/Dennis right through until Togger was in Year 7 - 5 years since - what a amazing feat to achieve. The fire was in 2002 not 2003 which i'd guess the Double Dare gang escaped. By the time Lisa's last Series came round - I really rated her character (and still do) and had much appreciatition to their era by the end.

blown up?i gave up on grange hill a few years ago after sticking with it from the start.dont tell me mr robson was killed?he must have been the longest charectar of all.

The Double Dare Gang were originally just Lisa West, Tom (Speedy!)Smith and Sam Cracker Bacon (for cast just follow my cast entries around series 21-24).
After a while, Gemma Lyons (Maggie Mason) sort of joined the gang, but left early (and was almost "rescued" from her new school)
Her replacement was Tracy but the dares diminished as they meddled with dating, developing a shift system between the two boys and three girls.
