I'm only on ep. 23 of the first season but so far Corrine is my least favorite.
Her storyline just doesnt hold my interest. Plus she's not funny, then again neither is Eunice, but at least her story is somewhat entertaining.
UPDATE now I am more than half way through the third season and Eunice is def. my least favorite.

Chuck and Bob were definitely hillarious. When Bob makes the Campbell's think he has ESP is one of the funniest moments on this show ever. And I don't see how anyone can be upset because they felt Benson was racist. Did you see all the racist comments thrown at him during his time on the show. Especially by Chester, The Major, and Chuck and Bob? And Benson was much better on Soap than he was on his own show. He becams very waterd down on Benson.

Leslie. The woman was married before and seemed to get over it, but then Billy breaks up with her and she falls to pieces and tries to kill herself? Give me a break! He couldn't have been that wonderful or that good in bed that he would be worth Leslie killing herself for. And being an adult she should have known better anyway. He's a teenager who just lost his virginity to her. Did she really think he was going to stick with just her and not want to be with other women? The story was fine until then but when he broke up with her, that should have been the end of it.

Bob and Chuck were hilarious.
The Major I can relate to. I have an Uncle similar to him.
The one I wash they would have axed was Eunice. She cheated with a married politician, then fell in love with an escaped convict. This girl had severe self esteem issues.
Carol was just a What the hell Jodie ever saw in her was beyond me.

Mary and Burt's scenes together bore me to irritation. Burt is funny, however, when he "disappears". Mary, well, is seldom amusing, let alone funny.
I don't care for Corinne or Father Tim, either.
Jessica annoys me, too - especially when she's given too much screen time. This is Soap, not the Jessica Show.

Carol is a definitely dislikable character. Most of the rest of the characters never bothered me much outside of her.

I can't remember the characters name and I just finished watching the ENTIRE series but it's John Biners character. The detective hired to find Chester. He was weasely and I didn't buy Jessica falling in love with him instantly. Especially after she was sleeping with Robert Urich in the first season.

I didn't hate Benson but I didn't think he was all that funny in fact he seemed out of place on that show. I thought he was better in Benson and seemed to have better chemistry with that cast.

Benson. I woulda fired his ignorant, racist butt.

I loved all the main characters except for Corinne.
Others that were on for a while that I did not like but don't consider main characters were Tim Flotsky, Carol, Ingrid Svensen, Jessica's shrink, and El Puerco.

I wouldn't say I have a main character that I disliked but if there was it would be Jessica. I understand she was supposed to be a ditz but sometimes she could be down right stupid. One example is when Jodie tells her that Plato was gay and she responds with "Mickey Mouse's dog was gay?" I know there are people who claim this was one of the funniest lines in television history but that was just to over the top. Another example is when she is on trial for murder and during the trial she just gets up and starts to leave because she thinks shes allowed too. Are you telling me she had no idea she was on trial for murder.

Carol. First she forced herself on Jodie, then she stood him up at the altar, then refused to let him have any part in their baby's life, then abandons the child, THEN she has the audacity to sue him for custody afterwards and forced her mother to commit perjury.can't stand the woman.
Don't forget she also had the baby kidnapped! For whatever reason, the stupid law couldn't do anything about it so Jodie had to venture out on his own leading to another heterosexual romance Even though Jodie's supposed to be gay @_@
Pretty much the only other person who comes close to the bitchy whackjob Carol is Leslie (Billy's teacher).
Anyway, pretty much disliked anybody dramatic, unfunny, or just plain cramped the show: Carol, Saunders, Leslie, El Puerco (this one's the worst), Maggie, etc.
I especially despise the last 2 since stupid El Puerco started to take over the Tate house. Even if Chester is a horrible husband, that should not happen! Also Maggie magically turned Jodie straight! Argh, such disgusting characters It was only a matter of time before "Soap got canceled, budget problems or no.

I never much cared for Corrine Tate-Flotsky. And I agree about Carol. Eunice was just okay. But Corinneno, Just. No.

I loved Chuck and Bob. They were definately my favorites. My least favorite was Carol.

My faves were always the Campbells, especially Jodie, Danny, & Chuck/Bob. I always found them very entertaining together. The Tates annoyed me especially Jessica and Chester after a while. I found Corrine and Eunice rather boring really.

Loved Bob and Chuck when they were done right. Too much of them was a distraction from their talent. When they popped in and out they were great.

I agree with the original poster. Chuck/Bob and the Major. Not funny at all. The show would have been great with or without them.

Can't believe no one picked Corrine's real mother. She had me scrambling for remote every time, with her annoying voice and bitchiness.

I felt kinda bad last night when I looked up the actor who played the Major and found out that he died of Alzheimer's.

I never really felt anything toward Chester. He just didn't do anything for me.
