I'd love to see this re-released and re-mastered. It's easily the best worst movie I've seen in some time. And Locke's best performance (no kidding)

I can't make them out on YouTube. However, I seem to recall that they are life-sized color disembodied dog-head decals of German Shepherds and/or Doberman Pinschers, like you would find on a mobile guard dog service van from that era. I think SPCA was simply added to the hood for poetic justice. You need the DVD to go frame by frame to see them clearly.

What were they? I just noticed the "SPCA" on the front.

The BlockBuster copy I rented wasn't the best transfer, and I'd be interested in seeing a better copy with any comments the principles might have about this feature.
The van graphics did give me a great laugh, especially with the barking dogs.

''Spoilers''
Yeah, I particularly like the ending, based on what they did to the cat earlier (pay attention to the name on the truck!) good acting overall.
