<p dir="auto">A marginally interesting story rendered spectacularly silly by some of the most over-the-top acting ever committed to film, and by direction that, in addition to being technically incompetent, seems intent on making the performances even "bigger".  When it was all over, I felt that I got to know the actors' nostrils very intimately.</p>
