The Orca or Richard Harris?
I could ruin this film with spoilers, so I've deleted everything I've just wrote there.
Basically, who was the bigger "bad" guy and who was the "good" guy? Thanks there!

The bad guy is whoever wrote the script.
The good guys were the actors who managed to speak some of the silliest dialogue lines without breaking into laugh.
Still a fun movie to watch. It was my favorite movie when it came out, but of course, I was very young at the time.

Not sure who we are supposed to be rooting for here. But I will say one thing. The Orca seems to know his way around a glacier. Somehow I think that if it comes to an Ice Bucket Challenge, the Orca will emerge the winner!

Very well put. I lost all sympathy for the orca when he bit Annie's leg off.

Oh, come on! The whale, of course, because nature wins out over man. Also, Charlotte Rampling is wandering around the Arctic in designer clothes not appropriate for below zero temperatures and you don't think that's cheesy? That's what makes this movie so much fun!

Nolan was also a victim. He had guilt over not doing anything to the drunk driver that killed his wife and son and wrongly thought the orca's actions showed more love for its family than he did for his. His wrong attitude made him a victim. I felt sorry for him.
Of course Nolan doesn't put up a fight, he lets himself be killed because he knows he's in the wrong, so he's not really that evil.

Well, I'm still in the first scene - 30 min mark - and Charlotte Rampling (whose character represents scientific knowledge) and Will Sampson (whose character represents native wisdom) are both telling him what an idiot he is, so we may feel a twinge or two for Harris, but already I know he's a deaf fool who gets what he's got coming to him.

Technically, in JP, the humans are still the bad guys as the dinosaurs are just being dinosaurs. I mean, none of the dinos went against mother nature and brought back an extinct species and put them into a zoo for entertainment.
