Orca was not dumb at all. It was a very good movie with a good plot, characters.
"Do All Things For God's Glory"-1 Corinthians 10:31

I think they're both alotta fun!
Orca should've gotten at least one sequel though. If sharks have family members that can avenger their deaths (Jaws 2, 3-D, Revenge), then can't killer whales also?

I'd say these two flicks are equally bogus.

Well, not being as dumb does not alone make it a better made film but I feel, while the premise for "Orca" was just as silly, the way the filmmakers worked within the confines of it was just all around better.

Pound for pound it is probably not as dumb or dumber. But that does not make it any better, or better-made.

Not even close. The premise is somewhat silly but it's saved by the execution. "Revenge" has no such luck. It has the same silly premise but lacks the script or the competent direction to keep it afloat. "Orca" is just an all-around better made film.

I don't think so. At least in this movie, they made an attempt to make it realistic. In
Jaws: The Revenge
, it was obvious that the shark was fake.
