<p dir="auto">Do you know of other mature similar thrillers?<br />
I can think of PREDATOR (the first one).<br />
Can be anything from drama/thriller/horrorBut ideally realistic and in Jungle, or possibly with similar athmosphere even tho not in Jungle (serious/dark IE: Live &amp; Die in LA also by Friedkin).<br />
No "feeling good" films.<br />
I want dark flawed or tough characters</p>

<p dir="auto">The made for TV adaptation of Conrad's<br />
Heart of Darkness<br />
(on which<br />
Apocalypse Now<br />
was Loosely Based) isn't bad. It's worth watching as a "nice try, but not cigar" attempt at adapting Conrad's great work to film.</p>
