I watched it when it was first aired from '78 to '82. It was a great show but watching now I'm impressed with how well it holds up to today's shows. It was so good.

The theme tune is so catchy and appealing too.
A little known fact, the closing theme was pure gibberish. This was because there were no vocals written for the tune so it was sung with gibberish so the producers could hear it and it was also a joke that the words for rock songs were usually intelligible so this played on that idea.
