I was listening to a recent interview with Bob Newhart on the passing of Mary Tyler Moore where Bob stated that Mary treated the cast of his show and presumably many of the other MTM shows as part of a family. However, I always heard that, despite the fact that WKRP was produced by her own company, Mary never cared for it, and was quoted as saying "I wouldn't watch it."
