<p dir="auto">I was seven when this film was released but I remember seeing promos for it being aired on ABC, probably around 1980, 1981.   Having just watched the film for the first time on DVD the other night, I can see that they must have edited out quite a bit for the TV broadcasts.<br />

<p dir="auto">I remember seeing it when it first came on TV. I originally saw it up the theatre and was surprised at how raw it was for a PG film. ABC cut a lot and used alternate footage that was shot for TV (that was a common practice back then).</p>
