I'm referring to how he can seemingly just appear out of nowhere even if he was just far away, a common trope in all these types of slasher films, not that he is beamed from one place to another star trek style.

The mythos on him is all convoluted across the multiple films and reboots and retcons…he was just supposed to be a psycho killer, then they had to come up with a reason he could do seemingly impossible things like teleport and survive multiple shotgun rounds etc etc…between halloween 4-6 they were going with some plotline that an evil cult was using black magic to control and revive him…that got retconned out of existence with H20, which itself got retconned away by the 2020s trilogy. The best film is the original. I do have a soft spot for 4 & 5 though.
