That would have been one crowded movie. Explaining how Myers survived the explosion and him emerging from the coma would take up a lot of the running time. And then adding all the elements from Halloween III on top of that. It would be interesting though seeing Myers involved with the Silver Shamrock plot. Like others have said though, it probably wouldn't have worked.

It wouldn't have worked. Silver Shamrock was about masks that when triggered manifested snakes and bugs. Michael Myers is a serial killer who goes after family. His family was not involved. Halloween 4 was basically Halloween 3 without the stand alone story.
