My favorite superhero film but the 4K is terrible. It's worse than the blu ray, which is worse than the dvd. Only movie I've seen where the dvd is better than the 4K.

Great Movie!

There's never been another Superman as true to the origins as Christopher Reeves' portrayal of him.

I have a love/hate relationship with these movies.

think they're overrated. Not bad or that I even dislike them, but overrated.
-They are hokey as ****, which works both for and against them. It makes them endearing, but a little goofy at the same time.
-Reeves and Kidder poured their hearts into these roles. the first one and the sequel are awesome.
-Hackman, Stamp and Co.'s performances in 2 are excellent.
-Donner and Reeves made us believe a man could fly, but some of the effects are extremely dated, particularly his "super" feats. Him running in the first one is laughable. Him hitting or getting hit in the 2nd by Zod and Company is also pretty bad. Like a slow mo reaction. There's just no semblance of physics here.
-I always hated how he could shut his powers off via that machine. Then turn them back on. Total lack of tension and drama.
-WTF is that giant Superman plastic logo he throws at the bad guys in 2? Dumb.

I always thought this movie was overrated. It is the best Superman movie but it is still not that entertaining.

You will most likely enjoy it. It is one of the top 5 best superhero movies of all time.
