Marvin Hamlisch & Carole Bayer Sager wrote the title song Uf You Remember Me & it was a top 40 hit but dont know why its unlisted in the credits. Was it Oscar-nominated?

This is one of my favorite songs and recordings of all time. I am a musican and music teacher. I never saw THE CHAMP in high school, but I heard the song If YOu Remember Me which was being called the them from THE CHAMP. Now I know it was written for the movie but removed from the film for some reason. Too bad, it's a GREAt song. It was written by Marvin Hamlisch and is available on a cd. I play it over and over. Look it up on Amazon.com or write for help.
