I saw this film back in the early 80's - Coincidentally I was being babysat, I had only seen the first 10 minutes cos my babysitter was scared out of her mind & she turned it off up to the moment when the cop was standing at the door
I couldn't sleep or pick up the phone for weeks & apparently the frightening babysitter never babysitted again after that night
This is how powerful & effective the horror films was back in 70's & 80's, unlike today

Haha I was actually babysitting my younger siblings, my mother told me that there was a great movie on to watch after the rest of the kids go to bed! It would be too scary for them but I could handle it, ye know, coz I was 14!! Could I fck! I never saw past the 'the call is coming from inside the house' partstill havent.. am gonna try this weekend though..over 20 years later!!
