And it's a good one. And MILES above the crappy remake from 2006, but sadly that's the only one that most people have seen out of the two.

Really? I'm pretty sure WAY more people have seen the original. They probably don't post about it online, but this was a really popular film during the 80's and 90's and its sequel used to be on all the time. I know the remake did fairly well, but the original actually did better when it gets adjusted for inflation.
