When Philo (Clint)is sneaking Clyde into the motel disguised as his "aunt by blood",the motel manager advises him that his "aunt' should not have kids,seeing as she is so ugly and hairy,LOL!

The opening song when Ray sings "the taste of Coors and a good friend always last" and Ray says "huh?" afterward. its pretty funny

When the second hotel clerk flashes what he thinks is Ma and yells: 'Show me them big blue eyes!'

I like when everyone is following the fight into the restaurant and they burst through the back door. Orville is holding Clyde's hand and yells at him, "Clyde put that spaghetti down!" Clyde has the spaghetti hanging out of his mouth. It's so funny to look at because he looks like how a little kid would look eating spaghetti and Orville is the parent yelling at the child.

Ma when she's looking for the money Clyde stashed. 'No hairy ass jungle jumper is going to out smart Synovia Boggs. God damn banana head probably ate it'.

Chola : We going to kill you real slowtake about a week.
Philo : Well I wouldn't want to rush you.

Philo, after Clyde craps in the police car, "Clyde, you've got damn little respect for the law."
I have a new philosophy. I'm only going to dread one day at a time.

I always liked that line: "Scrap the caddie." Maybe it was the soft, cool way Clint delivered it.
Then there was what Cholla said either just before he informs his men that he had put all of their money on Philo, or just after.
I forget the line, because it's so long since i've seen the movie, but I know I like it!
"What time is Recess?"

Beddoe: "Will they be driving Cadillacs too?"
Mobster: "Yes, long and black!"
Beddoe: "Clyde, scrap the Caddie."
Clyde: "Urgh!" (as in, will do)

Bwah ha! I can't believe the reviewers (at Amazon) who were freaking out about how "bad" this movie is!! I LOVE this flick! Somebody saying it's bad is just missing out!

I'd forgotten about Ma's lines in this movie, haven't seen it in ages. I'm going to have to dig the dvd out and watch it again. So many really funny lines, so much comedy from Clyde and Cholla. I'd have watched Cholla read out the contents of the telephone directory, he was hilarious.

This movie has some classic lines and scenes. Ruth Gordon when she sees that Clyde hid the ten grand under her own mattress said "outsmarted by a banana head". Or when she catches the motel manager peaking in the window of one of the rooms said:it isn't nice to watch people go humpity bumpity."
I also believe that in this movie Chola is speaking to the other Black Widows says "paint on some eyebrows, you look like a bunch of freaks." In another scene after Chola finishes getting the Widows pumped up to kill Philo, one of the Black Widows smells smoke and jumps up and says "Oh my God, my brownies are burning!"

When Ruth Gordon is looking for the money Clyde hid, she says, "No hairy ass jungle jumper is gonna out smart Zenobia Boggs" What a great name, Zenobia Boggs, it sounds like the name of a serial killer.

Cholla: "Lord, other men you make out of sand. Mine, you made out of beep

Zack:
"You could have made Paupers out of all of us!"
And..
"we are gonna be rich!"
"You are already rich Zack!"
Wilson:
"Then again, I've no desire to make Beekman Rich"

I like the line when Jim Beakman's goon gives Philo an advance to show up for the fight with Wilson.
PHILO: Give it to Clyde.
GOON: Who's Clyde?
PHILO: My manager.
(Clyde comes up behind the GOON)
GOON: (Screaming): AH! JESUS CHRIST! YOU WANT ME TO GIVE $10,000 TO AN APE????
