I bought both this and the first movie a few years back when they first came out on DVD (needless to say I wear them out.) But it always bothered me because I remembered that in the scene were Beekman is eating and his buddy gives him a dirty look that the reason he gives him a dirty look was because he was eating the rattle snake because someone shoots it, but they never show that or make mention of it. I just assumed I was getting movies mixed up until I saw it one night on ABC family and sure enough they showed the scene I remembered. Basically there is more to the scene when Big Tony pays a visit and at the end of it the snake gets shot, there is also a few more lines when Beekman is eating it. There was also more lines during the black widow club house scene where chula says "lord you make other men out of clay, mine you made out of S*&T." Does anyone else remember the extra scenes? I asked folks on the Clint Eastwood website for a answer and one dude said he has heard of this before but was not sure but figured that the TV cut must have had some extra scene work that got edited out of the theatre cut. Not sure how that works, just glad that I saw the other version so I was sure I was not just imagining this.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a copy of the TV version with the extra scenes? I have many versions of the film, but I've never seen the extra footage before. Would be real appreciated, thanks!

yes its true.. they add footage to tv scenes because of SWEARING being cut out etc..
I have watch many differant versions of this movie..
I remember specifically in Every which way but loose at the end the bar scene when Charlie rich comes in and starts to sing on the TV version that i saw ONE time.. they showed him singing ALOT longer than every other time I seen the movie!
Usually he started to sing and then they show'd lynn outside with the cowboy

I got the question answered on a Clint Eastwood site a while back and sure enough it looks like the guy's answer is correct. What they do a lot of times with movies where they have to cut out a lot of minutes due to dirty language and such is that they add in sometimes cutting room floor stuff to fill in. I have seen the TV version twice since then once on one channel they had both missing scenes. The first is instead of him saying my men are made out of clay etc. he says Lord why me then it cuts to Elmo and the Indian biker who in this ones looks a little different and elmo goes into this line about Chola promising them they would be famous and why can't he get and chicks and Chola responds by saying what would one chick want to do with another. The other scene is additional footage when Big Tony is up in Beakman's room before they leave there is more tough talk and ones of the hench man shoot the rattlesnake which is in the room in the extra footage. Then later when Beakman is eating his buddy asks him how he can eat the ratller and Beakman says he is not going to let a how ever much rattler go to waist or something like that. If you look in the DVD/VHS?Theatrical version his buddy makes a face like ewww when Beakman is eating and you never really know why he does it. Anyway saw it on ABCFamily a while back and they had both scenes and say it on CMT last night and they have the extra scene in the Black Widow club house but did not have the other extras I am sure due to the snake getting shot they also cut the snake mongoose scene down a lot in the beginning on CMT and never showed the kill. So there is the answer and something to look for when you see it on TV.

I have the VHS from that I bought in the 80's. The scene where the leader of the Black Widow's says "lord you make other men out of clay, mine you made out of S*&T." That is in the version I have. The snake scene is not. I have seen this movie many times, but can't recall a scene like that.
