that oddball caddy who kept squinting seemed to be trying pretty hard to be funny but hardly ever got a scene. What was the deal with that guy?

He did have one good memorable scene. When he walked up to Danny with glasses on a golf club saying "I've always wanted to be a golf club." mocking him sucking up to Judge Smails and the bishop.
