I read an interview with a female professional golfer no, I can't remember who and she stated that only recently a friend had insisted that she sit down and watch "Caddyshack" for the first time. and throughout the whole movie, from "so I got that going for me, which is nice" to "be the ball, Danny" to "it's in the hole!!!" to "I don't think the heavy stuff is gonna come down for awhile" to "pool or a pond", she found herself saying, "Ohhhh that's where that comes from!!!" Too funny. We don't even realize how much of our vernacular especially on the golf course comes from repeated quotes from Caddyshack.

My friend and I use that line, too, but we do it as a team. We'll be approaching a bar or food counter or something similar, and one of us begins saying how they want so many things from the menu, and the other chimes in with the line.

I use that line on my kids/nieces/nephews all the time. They have no idea where it's from, but all the adults in earshot do.
