Yes! I happened to watch Truffaut's
The Soft Skin
the other night, and there's a similar time-shift thing in an elevator there. He talks about it in an interview, saying he makes a 30 second elevator ride last about 3 minutes. No murder in that one, by the way, just a lot of building tension.
