<p dir="auto">Flash Gordon knows what it is, the actors, and everyone involved knew what it would be, and they had a blast with it (no pun intended). The problem with Star Wars and alot of sci-fi fantasy movies is eventually suspending belief and going full-retard is inevitable, you either ham it up and have a great time (Flash Gordon), or you still look goofy and try to be serious (Star Wars). And I'm talking about the Star Wars movies not the EU.</p>
