<p dir="auto">Which parts did they film in '77, '79, &amp; '80? Anybody know? I believe Donner's stuff was all filmed in '77 when he was directing the 1st Superman. I'm guessing the White House scenes, Daily Planet and all the stuff with Gene Hackman was all in '77. And Lester's stuff was then re-shot in '79 &amp; '80? Like, the Niagara Falls, Paris and the super battle.</p>

<p dir="auto">Donner's stuff was all the stuff with Hackman (he didn't return for the reshoots). The Daily Planet stuff was also Donner, as well as the diner scenes.<br />
I think the Paris scenes were Lester's.</p>

<p dir="auto">Yes. The Donner directed scenes were filmed from March 1977 - October 1978. The Lester directed scenes were filmed from August 1979 - March 1980.</p>

<p dir="auto">All of Donner's footage was filmed in '77 &amp; '78. Lester began directing his scenes in September 1979 and shooting wrapped in early 1980.</p>
