<p dir="auto">I am sure this has been mentioned already, but the part when the villains are using their super breath to cause a hurricane to blow people away, the guy in the phone booth laughing while the phone booth falls over and he was still laughing always cracks me up!</p>

<p dir="auto">I agree. Too many gags in that scene. Had Donner and Tom Mankiewicz not been involved with half of the movie, we probably would've had more unnecessary physical comedy like that.</p>

<p dir="auto">I love the movie, but that is one scene that I wouldn't probably cut if I were redoing it.  It just feels fake. A person wouldn't continue to talk in that situation.  The toupee flying away or the guy on roller skates were better uses of humor in that situation since they were at least real.</p>
