<p dir="auto">While I love Stamp in the role, I think Connery would have been a good alternative. He has that arch way of speaking and he rarely (if ever?) plays a villain. I'd have love to have seen what he could have done with it.<br />

<p dir="auto">I think Terence Stamp was perfect as Zod. Sean Connery wouldn't have really worked as well as Zod in my humble opinion.<br />

<p dir="auto">I don't agree.   I don't think he could do the over the top lines that Stamp did as well.   Then again I haven't seen a movie where Sean Connery yells at the top of his lungs either.<br />
