First of all, STOP WITH THE DAMN REMAKES. They ALL suck. Look at the ratings and reviews for pretty much EVERY remake made. Watch the original. Enjoy the original. And STOP with the stupid who's gonna play who in the remake. NO ONE CARES.
Sheesh.

See my recent post. Modern day take on the Cannonball Run 'concept' with Burt Reynolds returning in a background role. Warner want to do it, but it's a kind of 'all or nothing' deal with it needing an all-star cast like the original.

THESE MOVIES COULD AND SHOULD NEVER EVER EVER BE REMADE - You would never recapture the fun and magic the originals were made with (The rats pack, Burt and Dom Delouise), Jackie Chan etc - all true hollywood legends!
HOWEVER, they could continue the series with a 3rd (technically a 4th, but speed zone was beep introduce new characters and have cameos/roles for characters and stars from the original.

Shouldnt remake it but its still fun to compare the actors!
Omid Djalli (Sp?) Woud be a perfect Sheik.
Put Pierce Brosnan in as Roger moores character, but keep the joke going of him thinking hes roger moore!
