LOL, I forgot that he was in that Movie.
It's been quite some time now since I have seen it.

It really is a good movie version of that period and wonder why more haven't been made.

Even young they all brought the gravitas.
So many stories, so little time.

I'm sad to say it, but the first time I saw the first scene with Patrick Stewart where he attempts to pull the sword from the stone, I laughed out loud at horrible and hammy the acting was. I was shocked later when I learned it was Patrick Stewart. However a lot of the acting in the movie is completely over-the-top, but still a very enjoyable and beautiful to look at movie .

A decade later, I pictured Stewart shouting: "If a boy has been chosenMAKE IT SO!!"
My people skills are fine. It's my tolerance of morons that needs work.

Don't forget a very young Gabriel Byrne as well.

I agree. What's funny is how young Patrick Stewart looked only up until a few years ago. I swear he looked like he didn't age for 30 years.
