Hi!
What always bothered me is this: When they return to the camp and the bald firekeeper accidentally falls into water and kills the flame by doing so, is there a scene where the tribe punishes the bald guy for this, probably by horrible death?
In all versions I have seen of the movie nothing happens, but it seems like a scene like this is missing.
Does anyone know more?

Since when is compassion is an advanced trait? If you lose something this valuable to survival you'd get punished if not executed even today.

My feeling is even tho their tribe did not know how to make fire or atl-atl weapons, they were an advanced tribe in that they had developed

His character does not appear in the final minutes of the film, after the accident, so perhaps he was either banished.or worse.
