This was one of the first films, that I saw on a commercial VHS tape. I didn't think that it would still hold up, after viewing it 30 years ago. But it has!! It had the right balance of humour, and storytelling. And the two scenes which I always remembered, were the penis biting (ouch!) and the falling from the tree scene.

So many memorable scenes, and it holds up very well. Some people criticize it about the "science" of how the people are portrayed in it, but let's be honest, all archaeological work is science mixed with some guesswork, so I don't sit and nit pick what they didn't get right based on already guesstimated standards.
