Blue Underground should release this classic on BD. I sent them an e-mail and i hope they say it will be released. If they release it on BD, it would of course be restored and they will make a great 7.1 surround sound remix (if they can find the original sound elements). If they take their time and don`t churn it out, it should look and sound great.

To be honest I'm surpised some European distributor hasn't started releaseing their back catalogue on blu-ray yet.
Someone like Anthor World Entertainment could clean up with HD versions of their Cannibal and Zombie titles

Yes, those 2 will be released. Blue Underground answered my question today. This is what they said:
"Hello, thank you for your email. Blue Underground has no plans to release HELL OF THE LIVING DEAD on Blu-ray at this time. Please visit our website www.blue-underground.com for updates on future releases in the Coming Soon section."
That
s the reply i feared i would get, but that doesn
t mean they won`t release it at a later point.

Well, if Media Blasters can release Zombie Holocaust and Burial Ground on BD, which they are supposedly doing. Then there is a good chance Blue Underground will release a Hell of the Living Dead Blu-ray sometime in the future.I'm happy with my Anchor Bay DVD for the moment though.
