I was just thinking about Diana Scarwid's acting style and how kind of ridiculously inappropriate it was for this movie. Then it hit me that Faye's acting is even more so. The lines are already so heightened, and Faye just couldn't leave bad enough alone. I've not yet seen The Wicked Lady, but judging from MD I wouldn't be able to tell if she had any sense of humor. I think there is a brilliance in how far she is willing to put herself out there. Am I rambling? Perhaps. But am I wrong? I think not!

Faye really went out of her way to make Joan Crawford out to be an insane bitch. I didn't like her performance at all.

I love The Wicked Lady. It's a stately camp classic.
Don't eat the whole ones! Those are for the guests.
