but if a movie star gets the treatment, the movie is called fake and hollywood shuns it.<br />
the truth is… who knows…<br />
but one truth is… those who grew up watching this movie loved it… it's always been considered an entertaining movie… a tabloid monster movie about a woman monster… a nighttime soap two hours long… the glitter and the gloss and the exploitation…<br />
Mommie Dearest is the opposite of, say, The Last Jedi that critics adored and audiences loathed…<br />
