<p dir="auto">Io is way too bombarded with radioactivity from Jupiter's magnetosphere for humans to remain long on the surface, even with thick shielding, or so I would think. Europa is the next nearest moon to Io, yet it's also hit by high radiation.<br />
Ganymede or Calisto are the next two moons out that could provide for a future human colony. I say let's set COM-AM's mining facility on one of those and create a series about Marshall O'Neil's experiences fighting outlaws, corrupt mining officials and even throwing in some close encounters with extraterrestrials.<br />
This could be a good series, if done right.<br />
Don't let SyFy (still can't believe they use that ignorant spelling) touch it! Maybe FOX, USA or AMC could do justice to a series based on OUTLAND.</p>
