Having seen the movie for the first time last night (on Hulu) I also thought he bore a shocking resemblance to Graham Parker, LOL.

The band is mentioned on the end credits. Each member appears by name. John Christian,Richard Colligan,Steven Bock and Matthew Iddings.No future celebrities here, only nobodies ever after. The band is called "Nowhere Fast" and that's exactly where they went.

I thought he looked just like Mark Knopfler, the singer for Dire Straits, but I doubt it was him. Actually I stumbled across this because I was trying to find out who it was.the hunt continues.

I thought he sounded a little like Original Iron Maiden vocalist Paul D'ianno, Who interestingly enough had a song called "The Prowler"
