I remember when you find out what the Skeksi do to the Podlings I couldn't watch the rest of the movie. Thinking back on it this was probably the first movie that ever scared me as a child.

There was a lot of disturbing imagery. I put this and Return to Oz as two very dark and creepy kids' movies. And I loved them for it. To this day.
So many stories, so little time.
