Although this film has quite possibly the best scary ending ever, I have in mind a little addition that I think might maybe make it a little better. Follow along
When I see Jennifer's creepy smile and her eyes get really wide, I've always thought she looked like she was ready to rip her mom's throat out.
I would pick up right from the ending with the mom screaming, but then Jennifer disappears back behind the foot of the bed. Mom doesn't get out of bed but looks and looks all around and doesn't see Jennifer. She finally calms down a bit figuring she imagined everything and lays back down. Then maybe the bed shakes a little and mom sits back up. We cut to a wide shot of the entire length of the bed viewed from the side - from head to foot - we see Jennifer spring up and leap over the end of the bed with the crazed smile and demented eyes with her arms out in front of her and we freeze frame juuuuuuuuust before her hands get around mom's throat.
Thoughts??

That's the textbook definition of a cliché ending.
There are 8.2 billion people in the world. 8.19 billion of them have never heard of and don't give a fuck about Charlie Kirk. Get over it.

That sounds like a nice ending, But I like the one that we see, because it's more ambiguous.
