Yea the action sequels declined. I actually dont get and probably most dont either why he went from social commentary to action star. Of course he is more known as action star. But why extreme shift? As Rambo, I actually prefer the action star because he is the best at it.

Well he was a bodybuilder who decided to make millions. A lot of actors dont got his build so he’s presence alone makes it.

He gave an outstanding performance in First Blood. That being said, even his absolute worst performance is still better than any Schwarzenegger's performances.

I actually like Stallone better in First Blood than I like him in the Rocky movies, - but ONLY in First Blood. The sequels were a different thing altogether and just got worse with each one.

I have the second one as the greatest action movie of all-time. It was the pioneer of all the rest of the action films, Missing in Action, Billy Banks, etc.. it is also the true definition of Rambo.
