I have this remarkable film on video for about 15 years now. It's great !
I have a question about the ending though
Warning: SPOILERS !!!
The European video release has a picture on the back of the woman murderer who is stabbing Lance with a knife. But this is NOT in the version that I saw. In fact, in my version Lance escapes through the window and this is the last time we see him in the film.
Does anyone know more about this ??? Was this scene left out in the final cut? Why is there a picture of it on the back cover of the vhs video?

I found this, its a shot of Rita stabbing at Linda who is throwing a chair back at her
Also there is a pic of Rita removing her bloody hand to show her unharmed eye on the backside of this one:

I know it's been years since this thread was started but Christoph, if you're still on here, would you have a scan of that video sleeve? or a link to the picture of Rita stabbing Lance? Thanks.

I asked myself the same questions after watching this film. I hadn't payed much attention to the VHS back cover but afterwards I was like hmm, did I miss this scene or what?! But it seems they cut it from the film. The cover design was probably made before the film was even finished and by coincidence they used the images from cut scenes that's my guess
