Which one do you like better and why?
I love both but I slightly prefer The Blob, I do love The Thing as well.

I definitely agree with what preachcaleb said.
I will also say that 1988 Blob was pretty damned cool to watch. I was surprised how good it was (At least when I saw it in 1990 or so)

The Thing. The tension, the dread, the paranoia, the soundtrack, the effects, the characters. I love all those above The Blob.
