But you gotta LOVE this horror creature flick cuz of that and how scary disgusting the Thing was.
The acting was so good too.

Pretty much everything they did from the beginning was ****ing stupid
They encounter some Norwegians desperately trying to kill a dog for some unknown reason, they let the dog wander around the base camp without isolating it, find the Norwegian camp burned down and occupants dead, they bring back some nightmarish, conjoined Frankenstein creature found dead in the snow, dissect it (without wearing masks or protective gear) and determine it has a normal set of human organs, then they put the Norwegian dog in the kennel together with the other dogs and observe it literally absorbing and digesting the other dogs alive, THEN they dissect that one (without protective gear again) and determine it was duplicating the other dogs, THEN they find a ****ing ALIEN UFO in the ground, AND THEN decide to keep the half-dead Frankenstein creature that they now know is an extraterrestrial parasite that mimics its prey in a STORAGE ROOM and let the meteorologist wander in there alone even after the biologist determines there’s still cellular activity in it….
They had multiple chances to put 2 and 2 together and still found ways to get themselves separated, killed, and most likely doom life on Earth thanks to their retardation. These idiots are worse scientists than the ones on Prometheus and they all deserve to die from their own stupidity
