38 Years ago this week John Carpenter's cult classic The Thing was released.
The Film was a critical and financial failure upon release and was described as "instant junk", "a wretched excess", and proposed as the most-hated film of all time by a film magazine.
so what could have made the film better, check out my latest video and find out and find out my score out of 10.

I heard that John Carpenter came up with an idea for a Sequel a while back and he would bring both Kurt Russell (MacReady) and Keith David (Childs) back for it.
I know a little bit of what John Carpenter's idea for a Sequel was and that is that the Sequel would take place in 1982 right after the 1982 Movie in which a Rescue Team would find MacReady and Childs and Carpenter would have explained that the reason why Kurt Russell and Keith David looked the way they do (obviously they are much older and look a lot different and older since the 1982 Movie) was because of frostbite.

I would like a sequel. I want a third film to answer the questions of this film plus the prequels.
